In 1998\, Katherine resigned from the Ministry of Labour to establish a safety consulting business\, which started operation in April 1999\, under the name of “Occupational Health and Safety Consulting Services” (OHSCS). Blair Safety Consulting Inc. \nDuring her work career Katherine received a Diploma of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Western Ontario.
